Brian Pine

Before entering real estate, Brian spent nearly 20 years farming a diversified, multi-generational family operation, experiencing both the rewards and the challenges that come with agriculture. He later joined Kennedy and Coe, now Pinion Global, where he helped farmers and ranchers understand their numbers and use them to make informed business decisions — from succession planning and operational turnarounds to identifying the most profitable path forward. Brian has always believed that if you know your numbers and trust them, decision-making becomes easier and your batting average goes up.

Brian joined HECK in 2018, became a partner in 2020, and assumed full ownership in 2022. His approach to real estate is shaped by a unique combination of farming, finance, and firsthand property ownership. While his analytical background is valuable, Brian will tell you that the most important thing he brings to every transaction isn't a spreadsheet — it's his word.

What Brian appreciates most about HECK is the team behind every transaction, one he would proudly put up against anyone in the industry. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Kathy, of 32 years, who also grew up on a farm in north-central Kansas, and the family they have been blessed with. Their newest and favorite role is being grandparents, a title they wholeheartedly embrace.

Whether he's in a deer stand, casting a line on the water, or making memories at the lake with the family, Brian values every opportunity to be outdoors. He is deeply grateful for his church family and proudly bleeds K-State purple, where many of his lifelong friendships and favorite memories began.

Brian serves on the DCCCA board of directors, is a member of both the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce and DeSoto Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the Realtors Land Institute.
