Heck Land Company is proud to welcome Brian Pine as a new licensed agent. Brian grew up in Douglas County as the 6th generation of a Kansas farm family. He brings both education and experience to the farm and ranch real estate business. Brian has a BA in Agribusiness from K-State and more than 20 years of hands on experience in active farm management at Pine Family Farms. In that role he managed 4,500 acres under row crop production and 400 acres in sod. Brian also spent 3 years with Kcoe Isom as a Field Analyst, providing financial tools and consulting that included expertise in budget, cash flow and production costs to corporate agribusinesses as well as individual farmers and ranchers throughout the Midwest.
Brian is active throughout the region in ag and business related community service including terms on the American Royal Junior Premium Livestock Auction Committee, the Douglas County Farm Bureau Board of Directors where he served as President, and the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, where he also served as chair of the Agribusiness Committee. He has served as President of the Kansas Turfgrass Foundation Board of Directors and on the Douglas County Extension Council Board of Directors. Brian is active in his church and he and his wife Kathy are the proud parents of Hayden, a freshman at K-State, Jordan, a senior at Veritas Christian School, and Carson, a sophomore at Veritas. Brian currently serves on the Veritas Board.
With this expansion, Kelvin and Brian are pleased to announce the opening of their new office located at 123 W 8th Street, Suite 202, Lawrence, Kansas.
